This dashboard summarizes HMIS data found in the HUD CSV file. It allows users to visualize demographics and entry/exit data in our HMIS system. This data can also be broken down by Project Name and Project type, and filtered by Start and End date. The Cutoff Date can be used to calculate First Time Homeless and Returns to Homelessness.

The Point-in-Time (PIT) Count is a survey that collects estimates on the number of people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January.
During the PIT Count, trained volunteers and outreach workers go out into the community and count the number of people who are unsheltered. Shelter providers count the number of people in emergency shelter and transitional housing. The data collected during the count is used to better understand the scope of homelessness in Central Florida.

The Longitudinal Systems Analysis (LSA) report, produced from a CoC’s Homelessness Management Information System (HMIS) and submitted annually to HUD via the HDX 2.0, provides HUD and Continuums of Care (CoCs) with critical information about how people experiencing homelessness use their system of care.
